Jonathan Burton is a multiple award winning illustrator with a portfolio and client list of the highest order. Originally from the North of England, he now lives and works in Bordeaux, France.
The work is refined and classic while being playful. There’s an anarchic and whimsical edge to his juxtapositions giving an old time aesthetic a contemporary or unexpected twist.
This unique combination has led to numerous collaborations with legendary publishers the Folio Society, French fashion giants Hermés Paris, and established British clients such as BAFTA, the Royal Mail and Fortnum & Mason.
