Specialising in bold colours and graphic compositions, French Artist Marylou Faure creates joyful artworks awash with playful characters you can relate to.
Born in Paris, but a Londoner since the age of four, her work is inspired by both of her hometowns. As a teenager she spent many hours redrawing her favourite Manga characters, an influence that you can still see in her work today.
When she’s not in the studio, Marylou can be found walking her faithful whippet companion Charlie (aka Charles from Charlestonberry) or pursuing her love of roller skating. “There’s something really relaxing and satisfying about learning new tricks and just rolling around listening to music!” We couldn’t agree more.
