Despite working with Tim for more than a decade, the insane detail in his work still blows us away. How does he pack so much in? Inspired by old comics, gig posters and tattoos, the depth in Tim's work is truly mesmerising.
An old school draftsmen, Tim starts with a detailed pencil draft, which he then hand inks with a paint brush. He'll then scan the finished drawing and apply the colour digitally. It's this combination of traditional and modernity that really makes his work pop.
His work has been used everywhere in every way, but he's perhaps best known for his epic Star Wars book series (published by Egmont) and his award winning New York Times Kid's section covers.
